Have a few questions? Here are some that we get asked from time to time.

General Information:

  • We are located in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago, at 2828 N. Clark St, Chicago, IL 60657 inside The Century Shopping Centre, on the fourth floor.

  • Yes, all reservations must be made in advance. Due to the nature of our live game night experience, we do not accept walk-ins.

  • We help make that easier for you!

    2-Hour Experience:
    Guest count on our 2-hour Experience can be adjusted at any time. We recommend booking for the minimum guest count to confirm your timeslot. Your final guest count will be settled up on-site, and any additional guests past what you've paid for will be charged to the original payment method.

    Please note, that we will not be able to admit any guests over the 20-guest maximum.

    If you end up with fewer guests than you reserved for initially, the difference will be refunded to the original payment method, no less than the 8 guests.

    3-Hour Experience:
    These experiences are flat-rate and allow you to bring any number of guests, up to the maximum in the tier you booked, all for one price.

    For example: you reserved the Up to 40 guest experience? You can bring any number of guests up to 40 people maximum and you'll be all set!

    Please note, that we will not be able to admit any guests over the maximum guest count of the tier you have reserved. 

    In our 3-hour experiences, if you end up with fewer guests than you reserved for initially, there will be no refunds or downgrades to a lower tier outside of the cancellation window of 7-days prior to your reservation, however if you anticipate a fluctuation in guest count prior to this deadline, reach out to us and we will be able to downgrade you. We can only upgrade you to a larger tier if we have availability to do so.

  • We primarily design our experience for adults aged 18 and older. However, family groups with teenagers are welcome, provided there is a majority of adult guests and any minors are accompanied by a parent or guardian.

    While we love families, we recommend leaving younger children at home if possible, as our experience is geared toward adults. If younger guests do attend, please note that all guests of walking age (2+) are counted toward your total. Infants are welcome, but keep in mind there will be music and sudden loud noises during the experience.

The game night out Experience:

  • We offer 2-hour experiences and 3-hour experiences!

  • We drew inspiration from a long history of the classic parlor games you know and love, then designed a unique game experience that has something for everyone! You'll participate in a mixture of guessing, logic, skill, strategy, knowledge, and pop-culture-based group games.

  • No, all reservations are private so you will not be placed with anyone besides the guests you invite.

Policies & Requirements:

  • No Shows & Late Arrivals: Refunds will not be issued for no-shows or late arrivals.

    Cancellations:

    If you need to cancel with more than 7-days from the reservation date/time still remaining you may do so, and all payments including the minimum guest amount will be refunded.

    If you need to cancel with less than 7-days from the reservation date/time still remaining:

    2-Hour Experiences: The amount paid excluding the minimum guest amount will be refunded.

    3-Hour Experiences: The total amount paid is non-refundable.

    Reschedule Requests:

    Reschedule requests with more than 7-days from the reservation date/time still remaining will be honored, subject to availability.

    Reschedules requested with fewer than 7-days from the reservation date/time still remaining will be treated as a cancellation of the existing reservation (as per the policy listed above), and a new reservation will need to be purchased.

  • 2-Hour Experience: There is a minimum ticket requirement of 8. If your group is smaller than 8 guests, you can still book the 2-Hour Experience, but you’ll need to reserve and pay for the minimum of 8 tickets, regardless of the number of attendees. No refunds will be issued for fewer guests than the minimum. For the best experience, we recommend at least 6 guests.

    3-Hour Experience: These experiences are priced using flat-rate tiers instead of per-person pricing. There is no specific minimum guest requirement, but you will be paying a flat rate for your selected tier, regardless of the final number of attendees. If your guest count changes, you will not receive a modified invoice, even if it falls into a different tier. Please book the appropriate tier based on your expected guest count. For the best experience, we recommend at least 12 guests in our Up to 20 Tier

  • All guests who enter Game Night Out, regardless of the duration of their attendance or level of participation, will be counted toward your final guest count. No discounted or partial-attendance rates are available.

    A guest is defined as any individual in your room, above the age of 2 years old, including but not limited to non-participating individuals, regardless of the duration of their attendance. Please note that our experience is intended for individuals who are 18 years or older.

  • All guests who enter Game Night Out, regardless of the duration of their attendance or level of participation, will be counted toward your final guest count.

    That being said, we never want anyone to feel like they are being put on the spot, so your guests are welcome to participate at the level with which they are comfortable. At Game Night Out, we want everyone to have a great time, whether they're team captain or cheering on their team and jumping in to earn some points when they can!

  • Yes, we are required to ID all guests upon entry.

  • A valid government issued photo identification (ID) such as a driver's license, a state issued photo ID, military ID, or a passport.

    Photos or photocopies of your ID, birth certificates, or expired IDs can not be accepted.

    All guests without valid government issued photo identification (ID) will still be able to enter, however they will receive a red wristband indicating that they will be unable to consume alcohol while they are with us.

  • Our experience is primarily intended for adults aged 18 and above, but we do welcome family groups with teenagers as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.



    Please note that we are unable to accommodate groups of minors.

Logistics & Accessibility:

  • Yes, the Game Night Out living room is wheelchair user-friendly!

    The parking garage connected to the Century Shopping Centre does have accessible parking on the lowest levels.

    Still, please note that access to the building is by exiting the parking garage to the sidewalk on Clark Street, then entering through the mall's front door, as there are stairs at the entrances on each of the other floors. Some guests choose to be dropped off at the front entrance, before parking.

  • There is a convenient paid parking garage connected to our building, as well as metered street parking right out front.

    Validated rates for paid parking garage are listed below (rates subject to change):

    1 hour or less: $5.00

    1-2 hours: $10.00

    2-4.5 hours: $12.00

  • Please aim to arrive about 10 minutes prior to your scheduled experience. We strive to begin each experience exactly at its' start time, so being late for your reservation may cause your group to have less time for gameplay.

  • We do not currently offer off-site in-person experiences.

    Our in-person experience is carefully integrated into our location - it’s where part of the magic of Game Night Out comes from! Additionally, at our place, we take care of everything for you. Simply come over with your group, have a great time, and leave the planning, and clean-up to us :)

Food & Beverages:

  • Beverages:
    No, BYOB is not permitted. Guests may not bring beverages of any kind (alcoholic or non-alcoholic).

    Food

    Yes, you can bring or have food of your choice delivered to Game Night Out.

    We have delicious catering options available for pre-order. Order in advance and have everything ready for you when you arrive! Browse the menu here.

    Because Game Night Out is an active experience, we recommend lighter snacks or finger foods. Utensils, plates, and napkins are complimentary.

    No food is sold on-site, only in advance via our catering partnership with Blue Plate.

  • No, we do not sell food directly. However, we partner with preferred catering vendors to make your experience even better!

    When you order through our catering partners, your food will be set up and ready to enjoy when your group arrives—hassle-free.

    If you choose to use third-party caterers or delivery services, please note that you must be on-site to accept the delivery. Unfortunately, we cannot grant early access to your room for setup unless you order through our preferred partners.

    You may pre-order your groups beverages so they are in the fridge and ready to enjoy when you arrive.

    You may also wait to order until you are on-site, however please note that all beverages must be ordered on one tab.

    All beverages are served similar to a skybox suite, in which they are self-served and accessed by guests from your room’s private beverage refrigerator.
